I was born and raised in China. I attended a three-year fine art high school and I graduated from the top drama university in Beijing, majoring in Stage Makeup Design, with a minor in Fine Art.
I came to the U.S. to study makeup and special effects makeup for TV and film in 1996. I’ve been working in the movie business since then.
In the past, I mostly worked in the major FX companies as a makeup FX painter. But after I decided that I wanted to join the Makeup Union, I started doing more on-set makeup.
I consider myself to be a hard working person.
I’m an artist at heart. I started to draw since I was able to hold a pen. I rarely needed a baby sitter because a pen and some paper would keep me quiet for hours.
I am a sincere and down to earth person who has passion for what I do. I appear to be shy, but I’m really an outgoing person if you know me well.
